Pets News Network (PNN) is committed to accurate, fair and independent journalism in the public interest. These standards guide how we report, verify and publish.
Accuracy
We verify facts before publication and attribute information to named sources, documents or data wherever possible. Where a claim cannot be confirmed, we say so.
Independence
Our editorial decisions are made independently of advertisers, sponsors and partners. Sponsored or partner content, where it appears, is clearly labelled and kept separate from our newsroom reporting.
Fairness
When our reporting is critical of a person or organisation, we make reasonable efforts to seek their response and to represent it fairly.
Sourcing & data
Our investigations rely on verifiable evidence — official records, Right to Information (RTI) disclosures, data and on-the-record sources. We protect the identity of confidential sources where disclosure could cause them harm.
